SO HERE IT IS... THE LEGAL STUFF

Basically, we will AT LEAST abide by applicable English law relevant to ALL dealings between you and us.

When you make a purchase (and keep our wives and kids in the style which they have been accustomed to as the hangers-on of starving artists) then we earnestly request and require (getting serious now) that you provide us with full and complete details with which to complete the financial transaction which will set in motion the individual production process for your order. All other terms and conditions attached to the use of your credit card must be adhered to.

Your credit card will not be charged until the goods are sent.

We do our level best, up to and including farcical obsession with the artistic merit of our images and details of product descriptions (this, again, from our wives) BUT;

Minor differences in how images and frames appear on the website,and the exact sizes of products are inevitable.

Colours will appear different on your computer screen (especially when viewed after that magic hour in the evening when we are all allowed a little liquid refreshment) from how they appear in print or on canvas. OUR AIM IS TO ENSURE THAT WHAT YOU RECEIVE EXCEEDS YOUR EXPECTATIONS !

THIS IS A BIG ONE... ALL images on our site are the copyright of the original photographers, and are licenced EXCLUSIVELY to lensartistUK.com.

When you purchase from us, you accept all limitations of copyright, and and other intellectual property rights. This means that when you buy a print or canvas THAT IS ALL YOU BUY!

You are NOT allowed to copy or reproduce the artwork in any way whatsoever.

We are creative. But we are also commercial, which means we will protect our intellectual and property Rights.

Any copying of the image is unlawful, and will make us deeply unhappy, and very bad things can AND WILL happen.

LOSS

We are not liable for any consequential loss due to any purchase from us. Our liability is limited to the sum of the purchase price of the product,and shall not include events outside our REASONABLE CONTROL.

This does not, of course, limit your statutory rights as a customer.

Nothing in these terms and conditions limits our liability in the event of our negligence.

SAMPLE PRINTS

Sample prints are available for all standard canvasses and prints and are an additional £1.99 which is added to your order. These sample prints are purely intended for visualisations purposes only and have SAMPLE watermarked across the image. Sample prints are non-returnable and are not refundable.

Privacy and Security.

ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE. We are all concerned about our security and privacy, and we take all possible steps within the law and the ever increasing scope of modern technology to guard any personal and financial information imparted to us.

Our Privacy Policy is part of the agreement between us, and by purchasing goods from us both parties are bound by this agreement between us. You also give your consent to the way we handle the data given to us (which complies to all standard norms). We will not share this data with any outside party, which is not specifically concerned with the financial transaction i.e. your credit card company.

Moreover, any credit card information you give us is NOT stored on our site or remotely by us, but at the site of your credit card provider. Your order and all data that goes with it are processed via industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) software which encodes all information you input before sending it to the credit card processing company. You can tell that you are in a secure area of any site by the "htpps" in the site address, rather than just "http" (the 's' means that it is secure) or the padlock symbol in your browser denotes a secure area.

Standard credit card checks are also routinely applied.

We also gave some 'THAWTE' to the issue of security by signing up to this industry standard Web Security Certificate.
